Program Participation
By enrolling a student in STEM U Afterschool Programs, parents and guardians agree to all terms and conditions outlined below. STEM U LLC provides engaging STEM learning experiences designed to promote creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
Attendance & Behavior Expectations
  • Participants are expected to attend sessions on time and regularly.
  • Respectful behavior toward peers, instructors, and property is required.
  • STEM U reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behavior disrupts the learning environment or endangers others.
Safety & Supervision
  • STEM U staff maintain high standards for student safety and supervision.
  • Parents must ensure their child is picked up promptly at program dismissal times.
  • STEM U is not responsible for students once they have been released to an authorized parent or guardian.
Technology & Equipment
  • All program materials and technology provided by STEM U remain property of STEM U LLC.
  • Students must use devices and materials responsibly and as directed.
  • Damage caused by misuse may result in repair or replacement costs charged to the parent or guardian.
Cancellations & Refunds
  • Refunds or credits may be issued only in cases of program cancellation by STEM U LLC or at the organization’s discretion.
  • Missed days due to illness, scheduling conflicts, or family travel are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
Participation in hands-on STEM activities may involve minimal physical or technological risks. By registering, parents and guardians acknowledge and accept these risks. STEM U LLC and its affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the program.
Policy Updates
STEM U reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Updated versions will be posted on the official website.

Parent Rights

3. Photo & Media Release Form

Authorization for Use of Likeness
By enrolling in STEM U Afterschool Programs, I, the parent or legal guardian of the participant, hereby grant STEM U LLC, its representatives, and authorized partners permission to photograph, record, or capture images and video of my child during program activities.
I understand that these photos, videos, or recordings may be used for:
  • STEM U’s official website
  • Social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
  • Marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and presentations
  • Press releases and media features highlighting STEM U programs
Rights and Revocation
  • I waive any rights to inspect or approve the finished materials or media where my child’s likeness appears.
  • I release STEM U LLC from any liability associated with the use of my child’s likeness.
  • I may revoke consent at any time by submitting a written request to info@stemullc.com, which will apply to future materials only.
Acknowledgment
I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand this Photo and Media Release Form and consent to the use of my child’s likeness as described.
